Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. have located a plant in 1988. This is the first Toyoyta assembly plant in Canda and only the second in North America. The Cambridge plant produces the Corolla, Matrix and Lexus RX350 models destined for the North American market.

Cambridge is located close to many cultural events and activities, including the Elmira Sugar Festival, Rock the Mill music festival in downtown Galt.
